Hello, a little about me…
Tobias Shoemaker is the Bestselling author of The First Fallen Book of Sorrows and his forthcoming 2023 title, The First Fallen Book of Ashes. The Michigan native is a lover of horror novels, cheesecake, and all things beach related. He currently resides in South Florida, most likely multitasking or hopping in his Jeep for the occasional day of surfing.
Tobias grew up in Wayne, Michigan but counted places like Dallas Texas, Waikiki Hawaii, and West Palm Beach Florida, as his home. He received his Visual Arts degree from the Dallas Institute of Art and has over three decades of illustration, graphic design, and corporate management experience.
Once upon a time, while working in corporate sales, he was asked to write an amusing caption beside his details on the organization’s website. He wrote “I am a best-selling novelist currently masquerading as a forty-something sales manager and husband.”
Now, as a fifty-something husband, he is working on the rest. He lives with his wife, Ana Maria, and what he refers to as “Their two evil minions that society calls dogs” in South Florida. While eating a slice of cheesecake now and then, he’ll continue to write about such things as vengeance, Love, philosophy, and the endurance of the human spirit.
